The Ultimate Stride is hockey’s explosive skating school. Darren Durdle and his team has been helping players of all ages and abilities improve their skating. Theyare very pleased with the response they receive each year, and expect the camp to fill up early again this year.

The game of hockey is in a transition period where skating has become the focus. The camp motto is…IF YOU CAN SKATE YOU CAN PLAY. Skating is the foundation for you as a hockey player. The game now is about speed, quickness, power and agility along with being able to transition quickly and effortlessly. They break down the stride and improve your skating through demonstrations, one on one correction and repetition using proper skating techniques. All these drills start off very basic in order to learn proper technique then progress to game situational drills that are done at full speed.
