Please only attend HDP and Evaluation Skates once your athlete is released from the CP Regional AA or AAA programs (if they're trying out for them) and once your athlete's registration fee is paid in full.

Please note: groups are spilt alphabetically by last name. All HDP skates are 1 hour long and will be facilitated by instructors from the PSD Hockey. If you have a conflicting prior engagement, such as Football playoffs and need to attend a different time slot for your age group, please feel free to do so, but stick to the assigned schedule as much as possible to keep group sizes manageable.
The same goes for Tryouts, but please email vp@portageminorhockey.com to let us know so we can make the coaches aware.

Those signed up for the Female programs are expected to skate in their respective age group and time (by their last name) for HDP.

Those registered in the female U9 and female U13 programs do not attend Evaluation skates (as they are on the team already).
Females registered in Coed programs and U11 Females must attend the Evaluation Skates.

If your child would like to attend the HDP Goalie skates, they need to be registered by sending an email to vp@portageminorhockey.com. This is a great chance to try the position with great instructors. Please include in your email if your athlete needs to borrow PMHA goalie gear or has their own.

Players planning on splitting time between goalie and skater are welcome to attend HDP sessions with their corresponding age groups and the Goalie HDP sessions.

Your athletes will attend their three corresponding HDP skates and then then expected to attend their three corresponding Evaluation/Tryout skates in order to form teams. The schedule for Tryouts and Evaluation Skates will be posted in the coming weeks as we finalize teams. Expect the majority of them to start the week of Sept 20th.
