HDP / Tryouts Schedule

 
Those signed up for the Female programs are expected to skate in their respective age group and time (by their last name) for HDP.
Those registered in the female U9 and U13 program do not attend Evaluation skates (as they are on the team already).
Females registered in Coed programs and U11 Females must attend the Evaluation Skates.
 
If your child would like to attend the HDP Goalieskates, they need to be registered by sending an email to vp@portageminorhockey.com

Players planning on splitting time between goalie and skater are welcome to attend HDP sessions with their corresponding age groups and the Goalie HDP sessions.
New for this year – we will not be Double-rostering our U11 and U13 teams.
Your U11 and U13 athlete will attend their three corresponding HDP skates and then then expected to attend their three corresponding Evaluation/Tryout skates in order to form teams.
In U11 we are planning to have a Gold team, Silver team and 2 Bronze teams all playing in the Pembina Valley League.
For U13 we’ll have a Gold team, Silver team and Bronze team all playing in the Pembina Vally League.
 
**This was decided after we implemented the $20 tryout fee, so we will be returning that to those who paid.

Please read the table below carefully for your age group and attend only the sessions for your age group and name.
Please note: groups are spilt alphabetically by last name. All HDP skates are 1 hour long and will be facilitated by instructors from the Rink Hockey Academy. If you have a conflicting prior engagement, such as Football playoffs and need to attend a different time slot for your age group, please feel free to do so, but stick to the assigned schedule as much as possible to keep group sizes manageable.
The same goes for Tryouts, but please let us know so we can make the coaches aware.
